Ozone has a strong and fast effect on pathogenic bacteria. The bactericidal effect of ozone is 50 times more effective and 3000 times faster than chlorine.

Unlike other chemicals, ozone has a destructive effect not only on live microorganisms, but also on viruses, bacteria, fungi, mold spores, mites causing their destruction and frees the environment from unpleasant odors

Ozone is not a strong poison but a very violent oxidant. Unlike other aggressive chemicals, ozone is biodegradable to pure oxygen, so it does not leave behind toxic breakdown intermediates. It does not contaminate the environment or accumulates in the tissues of living organisms.

Ozone, being a very unstable gas, quickly transforms into its original form, i.e. oxygen (O2), which we normally breathe. Ozone decomposes back to pure oxygen, so despite its strength, it is not permanent - it does its job and disappears.
